  2. Defamation is lying about somebody in a way that causes them stress/harassment or harms their reputation. The mainstream media isn't immune to slander/libel lawsuits. It is therefore very telling that trump, for example, hasn't successfully filed a lawsuit against all the "fake news" he claims that has been slanderous about him, or been successful in showing a judge ANY evidence to back his claim the election was rigged etc etc etc.

  4.  @CristiNeagu  He was charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records, to hide the hush money he paid in 2016 to hide his affair from voters. The only illegal aspect of that is the falsifying the business records, so that's what he's been convicted of on all 34 counts. Oh it's also illegal to spend money to help a presidential campaign but not disclosing it, as it violates federal campaign finance law. What do YOU think the 34 felony charges are for?
