  1. A president has to set an example of the laws of the land. If a country has laws, a president can't be seen to break them.. It's not that anyone should look to the president as the height of morality.. Or special.. Or a shining example to follow. It's more to do with upholding the law. How can you defend the law or tell everyone they must abide by the law if you are a criminal? 🤷‍♂
