  1. You could see it in the witnesses. They don't want to appear to be helping the defence in any way. They don't want to be the one that gives the evidence that may reduce Chauvin's sentence.

  5.  @NinjaThatLongboards  I'm not saying he's innocent or guilty, that's the courts job. I'm not saying are trying to help Chauvin or not. I'm just stating an observation that the witnesses looked scared or concerned that they might give the defence team an answer they can later use to reduce his sentence. The jurors are anonymous (I assume) but the witnesses have no protection from those that could see them as implicit in a lesser sentence.
