You'd have to leave the EU first, and then get rid of all your human rights. Then, when you've destroyed your country, you can then say no to helping people in need.

Imagine being furious about giving a human being fleeing atrocities £49 a week to feed themselves, or even just £9 a week if heaven forbid, they are fed where they're forced to live. AND... Even if they are granted asylum, this tiny allowance stops after 30 days, and they are kicked out of any housing they were given. Disgusting people.

@markford-h7l I've tried, but I can't decipher the point you're trying to make..

@MrBeautifulmountain No rebuttal, only dismissal of facts. Top marks for deluding yourself.

@MrBeautifulmountain Explain why Poland is currently upset and have been since 2023, with the EU for imposing laws on them for dealing with mass migration after the influx of 1 million refugees in Europe due to the war in Syria.

A refugee isn't a migrant. A migrant works, pays taxes, provides a service and supports the NHS etc.

@RedOakCrow Good luck with the trade deals from all those 3rd world countries that also don't value human rights. You won't be selling anything to Europe or any developed country once you leave the ECHR or if you think you can pick and chose whose refugees to assist with. In reality you be TOLD what your refugee process will look like, just like the scrounging UK.

@MrBeautifulmountain Explain how you can go against the ECHR and still benefit from a trade deal when being a member of the ECHR is part of that deal.

@MrBeautifulmountain Poland and Hungary must be getting all upset about nothing then.. Weird they vetoed it but never mind. They'll be made to help whether they want to or not. Just like you will be. At least if the EU only removes funding you can still enjoy all the other benefits of paying to be an EU member. Taking your fair share of refugees in a crisis isn't "open borders" silly. But why would you want to leave. That's what I said you'd have to do, and you called that "utter tosh"?

@MrBeautifulmountain That's right. The ECHR has no dealing with legal immigration. Why would it? That is controlled by demand for labour in Ireland. I lived in Holland for 10 years as a migrant, and was told I could be asked to leave the country if I applied for benefits so migrants either work and pay taxes or go onto another country. The ECHR protects refugees and forces people like you that wouldn't lift a finger to help those in need. If you don't want Muslims or anyone to have basic human rights I'd call you whatever I like.. You sound so dumb when you cry about a country becoming majority Muslim. So dumb.. I couldn't care less if you're a Muslim. You'd still be subject to the same laws of the country. It doesn't upset me at all. It has zero impact on my life. But this is the crux isn't it? You're happy to inflict all these Muslims onto every other nation in the EU. The whole point of every member state taking a fair share is to prevent a country taking on more than it can handle or even to the RIDICULOUS point where a country has more refugees than actual citizens!!!! It's all linked to GDP so stop whining 🤣🤣🤡

@roryd1888 I have worked with refugees and NONE of them EVER mentioned going on benefits. They all wanted to work. They can even get help with qualifications and training to get work. The only people that ever end up on the dole are those from countries where they have the dole.. Or of course, the sick and pensioners which count for the VAST majority of people claiming benefits.
