  1. I'd watch this if they didn't make this about a black victim of white people. If they'd made the victim white or just made the motive anything other than racism (*yawn) then this would be a better story. The man this is loosely based on wasn't black either.

  2. Why doesn't Christian Bales character, as an investigator, even consider Edgar Allen Poe as a suspect? Whereas he considers EVERYONE else he has contact with as suspicious. Edgar Allen Poe is possibly the MOST suspicious character in the story.
