"Growth" is code for removing workers rights and reducing or stagnating wages so that rich business owners might consider setting up or remaining in the UK.

He's a blatant liar. If you believe a word this person says, you are the mark for every con man that ever existed.

This is the exact same conversation we had about machines, and the reality will be the same. Jobs exist to make someone else money. AI will be implemented to make someone money. Those people don't want you having free time. Those people aren't interested at all what you want to do with your life. Those people want you to make money for them.

Every council should declare bankruptcy. The services they are supposed to offer aren't fit for purpose.

You can sit in your house like you're camping with all your thermals on etc but your house will get damp and mouldy. It's not just about keeping warm.
41
Yes.. Everybody that voted to remain in the EU told you about the issues you'd face if you voted to leave!
26
Who would have thought that Russia and Australia aren't a member of the EUROPEAN convention for human rights.. 🙄🤦♂🤦♂
25
@adburn1066 blurred, along with everything else after drinking a suitcase of wine.
24
I have as much compassion for the brexiteers as they have for me and my family. Although they have voted to remove my freedom to work in the EU, they voted to make my food more expensive, They voted to push families into poverty, they voted to isolate me and make millions vulnerable to our own government, they voted for less funding for services that were already crumbling, they voted to bankrupt businesses etc etc etc etc. Whereas I just voted to protect all those things, so I probably have less empathy towards them than they do for me.
24
It's amazing how people differ. She wants boris back, and I want the guillotine back. 🤷♂
22
The idea of 100% unemployment is a terrifying concept to a tory. That's some nervous laughter.
20
@rjkmusicmedia So the system you describe only works for a few and supports itself on the shoulders of the poor who must be kept in poverty and misery and only works for those few if others are made to suffer. I can see why it would put a smile on a tory.
19
These people can vote.. Now i know how brexit happened..
17
The more you age and learn about how the world really works it makes you angrier and angrier and you wonder how the heck this was allowed to happen. It's so corrupt and so biased and against the best interests of 99% of us. And it happens so often that's it apparently completely normal, acceptable and even protected.
17
I just won't listen. After the first lie about his wife's "speech", what's the point of wasting any time listening on the slim chance he may tell a truth.
17
I'd watch the news if journalists interviewed people like this.
15
Where's all the money we "saved" from brexit?
15
@Prince Talleyrand Yes. We need jobs people can afford to have. Wages that resemble the cost of living. Kick start the economy by increasing disposable income to the poorest workers and get EVERYONE eating out, buying goods and paying taxes.
14
I love it that people can sit in their echo chambers and become so comfortable that they will openly and publicly express their misinformed opinions..
13
As opposed to? A massive wrongun?
13
If this is racism, what is it called when white people have the same frustrating experiences?
13
Now everything within the school is digital with finger print scanners. Kids that qualify for free meals get a couple pounds credit on their account a day and a pretty generous supermarket coupon during the holidays. There are still children that feel uncomfortable using the school canteen as it is the only place you can redeem the free school meal credits, and there's a more expensive "cafe" within the school grounds. Either remove the "cafe" or let children spend their credit where they choose 🤷♂ .. It seems society is determined to set a distinction of class and will go out of its way to try and make the poor feel inferior or the rich feel superior and therefore deserving of their wealth. It's sick..
11
@parkgate-ub1ey They don't have access to our benefits system! So gullible!
10
Get reparations from the African nations that rounded up the people to be sold into slavery and received the money for those slaves.
9
I've never heard Corbyn say anything I disagree with, I think is a lie, or is contradicted by himself at a later date. The opposite can be said for EVERY tory politician.
9
Lost my vote
9
I'll take my wages in whichever currency has the most buying power. That's what money is for. Buying stuff like food etc. When the £ buys me less stuff than the Euro, I'll ditch it immediately.
8
I couldn't care less what either of them think about anything 🤷♂
8
"I'll be alright Jack!" .. Some don't vote FOR something. They vote to take things away from other people.
7
The UK is dependant on migration so why does it need solving?
7
Nobody going to call out the racism??! Nobody??!
7
Can you imagine having access to all the most expensive lawyers in the world and being afraid to face a young woman in court?.. Still think it was a doctored photo, still think he's being stitched up by a gold digger? Disgraceful royalists..
6
@davidgreen6490 Let us know when there is an ACTUAL positive outcome rather than celebrating speculation and wishful thinking... Meanwhile, the list of negative effects goes on and on and on in real time with real life consequences for everybody.
6
It's always been about human rights. The British people's human rights.
6
Freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequence ✊
6
But that is unfair rent increases, not unfair rent.. You can also be removed as a tenant with little notice, the rent increased to whatever they like and then rent to a different tenant.
6
MajorCharlesCarringtonVC And in English?
5
@Bad Lieutenant How has strike action affected you?
5
Politicians playing politics? You reckon??
5
Any party that pampers to the rich will destroy their economy. The only way to successfully boost ANY economy is to increase wages and get everybody spending more money. That's how to support business. Increase their customers.
5
Why? Not the apologising bit, but why so proud? I used to feel the same but lately I don't see much to be proud about. I haven't understood nationalism for a long time 🤔 Please refresh my nationalistic vigour.
5
That we want to protect girls that are the victim of grooming.. And it doesn't matter what race the victims are..
5
It's all about context. The vital ingredient missing here. In what context do you use the statement "Rule Britannia"? Do you say it before leaving the house to go to work? "Bye wife. Rule Britannia!" Also don't get triggered folks. This is NOT saying that being proud to be British is against the law ffs.....
5
There has never been a time in the past that has been more moralistic than today.
5
There are zero cons from having human rights...
5
£60,000 a year is a lot of money for someone as intelligent, and as skilled as a police officer.
5
@bonkersbeast They don't want you to vote. A tory ALWAYS votes.
5
Yeah let's ask Andrew who's propping up the bar, "Should I have human rights?"
4
I'm looking forward to the next 4 year of the united states of trump. I hope Americans will achieve their goal and raise trump in the Forbes richest people list. 🍿🍿😂😂
4
I hope I don't inherit a business that I don't know how to make money from. I mean I could sell it for millions and pay a couple hundred thousand in tax and change my life in every way.... Or I could make some money from my inheritance and pay the tax like that.... But other than that it's an impossible situation being thrown on helpless citizens!!!!! Outrage!!!!
