I wonder if when people ask them if they've ever had to discharge their firearm or if they've ever killed someone, if they see this as them killing someone or if they try to rationalise it somehow, like a person died in their custody etc. I bet they never say they tased a man to death. That seems more vindictive and malicious than shooting and killing someone.
