@grahamgriffiths7405 Asylum seekers are given shelter and, if food is provided, they are given £8 a week. Then after 30 days they're evicted and get nothing. A veteran can work like everyone else and gets a generous pension and a state pension. How is it even comparable?

@grahamgriffiths7405 Says someone that has NOOOO clue how asylum seekers are treated. But why should a person displaced by a war they had no choice about, be treat worse than anyone else? Should they come before people sat at home in safety that have no clue of the atrocities of war, agree with military action and even want to stop others helping asylum seekers?

@grahamgriffiths7405 It's strange how you claim to have intimate knowledge of the asylum process and yet still spout lies when you know fine well, the asylum process doesn't normally take 18 months or longer. You're not the only person that has worked in some capacity with refugees. The ones I worked with were processed within 2 months average. I've never met a refugee that mentioned benefits and only ever knew them to want to work as they are a proud people and want to be self sufficient. You know fine well there is no endless list of freebies. £8 a week.

@grahamgriffiths7405 Then they do get evicted after 28 days but only after they've been verified as an actual asylum seeker. I'm getting my info from the governments web site on how refugees are treated and what they're entitled to. So argue with them if it isn't correct.
