  1. I lived in the Netherlands for years and the health service worked because employers either paid your health insurance or wages were high enough to afford health care. It wasn't something to worry about. In the UK, can you imagine employers paying your health care? If you think health insurance will work in the UK, listen to the reaction to suggesting wages increase by the slightest amount. Wages are pathetic across the board. This country isn't responsible enough to handle health insurance.
