  1. I used to love bonfire night as a kid. But then the council started clamping down on bonfires, and then you could only go to an organised fire where you'd have to buy tickets and then it devolved into a bonfire so far away behind a fence that you could hardly see it let alone feel any heat from it. And now there's no bonfires, only fireworks displays. The centuries old British tradition has been killed by health and safety. I keep it alive in my garden with the fire pit and a few beers.

  6.  @karlscher5170  I'm not sure why you need me to love Islam. I just don't hate Muslims or any group of people. I'm not a Nazi! In my city, we have almost twice as many Muslims as the entire population of Langen and we manage to hold events and get on fine, and why wouldn't we? Whereas you'd be terrified to leave the house where I live. 🤣🤣 Maybe the town of Langen should grow a pair and not be so soft. Or are you saying the "bonfire" event still happens with security, but you're too scared to go now?
