Hamas is not Palestine. Go sing some football songs.

@davidhoyles8595 Not a single one of those hooligans are in the army.

Weird as I don't see a single Palestinian flag in any of the video clips.. It's as if the Palestinian march for peace was nowhere near the Cenotaph. But it's definitely appropriate to protest war on a national day of amnesty right? 🤷♂🤦♂

Did England lose a football match again?

@Bhammich They are asking the UK to demand a cease fire. You sound completely clueless.
4
@jonathanhicks140 Oh so they aren't a terrorist group then?
3
@davidhoyles8595 And what's your point?

@davidhoyles8595 Palestinians know what a war is like. They are being shelled right now. You have zero idea what a war is like, but here you are, lecturing and telling Palestinians to respect everything about you and what you value, and yet you have zero empathy for or value for Palestinian lives. The Palestinian march wasn't even at the cenotaph, but it certainly was appropriate to march on this day of amnesty to demand the UK government at least show condemnation towards Israel. Give your head a wobble.

How is it a counter protest? Is their stance that there SHOULD be no cease fire in Gaza? What's the point of these people?
3
@davidhoyles8595 Please patronise me and explain your point.

@joshevans4663 So Hamas is not a terrorist group? In that case then, Israel is committing a war crime, the same as Russia, and Palestine's national army (Hamas as you claim) has the right to defend themselves.
1
@clairewright332 Nobody said they did. What's your point?
1
@johnj8710 You know they're calling for the UK to demand a cease fire right?

@@jorgej8855 What's your point?

@gari7450 Who is Hamas to you?
1
@mr.brightside6576 Oh really. So what happened back in July for the UN to condemn? What has been happening for the last few decades? Israeli citizens pushing Palestinian families out of their homes claiming, "Everyone is doing it." As an excuse to make kids homeless. Palestinian children being murdered by Israeli soldiers in public in broad daylight. Give your head a wobble.

@@neildear I just asked him to clarify his point. We will never know.

@davidhoyles8595 Yeah I know. But what our ancestors fought against was what Israel and Russia are doing now. I'll help anyone that needs it. It doesn't take anything away from me. But I saw my dad help others. He's a hard man that'd speak up if he saw someone victimise someone else. My mother is also a strong woman but she doesn't suffer fools gladly. I guess it's how we're brought up. My family have a lot of respect in the community and it pays its way in many ways.

@davidhoyles8595 I don't even know what that means. Life is complex. I guess some folks just can't handle it. Can I ask you.. Have you ever met or spoke to a refugee?
1
@davidhoyles8595 Ah yes. There's no hate like Christian love 👍👍

@davidhoyles8595 I'm a grown up so all religion is of no interest to me.
1
@davidhoyles8595 Why? At what distance do people stop being connected to you?
1
@davidhoyles8595 No need to avoid a question.. I'm trying to clarify your own view. So if a child was lost or upset/scared on a street, you'd walk on by. Or even demand others don't help or question why they're helping the child? I'd try to help the child as I was once a child, I have children, I have empathy and I'd hope people would try to help me or my kids if we were in distress. We're all human beings. That's a much stronger and real connection than supporting the same football team or believing in the same imaginary god.
