That's what I think after each headline, but then I look into what they've actually done, and I generally support what they've done so far. They just have zero online presence. All we here is what the far right say they're doing.
2
What can we do about this? In a legal sense, as a civilian of a country with a corrupt government?
2
Too many stupid selfish people in the UK. They don't care about losing their human rights as it won't affect them. And they'll not care if millions are pushed into health poverty as it won't affect them. They don't need anything and yet they'll vote to take things away from others.
2
This government is causing me serious distress and they are EXTREMELY annoying! So go lock them up!
2
@ssjmonstar There is no way on Earth somebody that believes in what the Labour party stood for would ever vote tory.. that's like the turkey voting for xmas..
2
What a waste of time. Instead of governing the country, doing their jobs, working for their constituents, earning their wages. How long have they wasted investigating whether boris lied when the entire country knows he lied. Then debating on whether they should even acknowledge the evidence. Absolutely embarrassing time for British politics. Shame on them and us for letting this happen and continuing to pay their exuberant wages.
2
@PeterFairhurst-v3e I'm surprised you got the joke. There's maybe a little bit of hope for you yet.
2
I lost my job as my wages were paid by eu funding.
2
But it wasn't a hoax sooooooo.... 🤷♂
2
@michaelmayo3127 Then invest and pay for more staff and hospitals, instead of giving our money to private health providers that don't need it.
2
@jschreiber6461 Then whilst increasing funding we should also sack those not doing their jobs and introduce the private contractors to a competitive market.
2
boris is like a contender on "The Apprentice" if the task was to sell hats. He'd arrange meetings with buyers, bumble incoherently about the hats whilst the buyers would exchange glances of disbelief and quickly finish the negotiation with that "Don't call us, we'll call you" line. And then we'd hear from boris how amazingly well he thought it all went, how impressed he thought the buyers were and that they'd have to order more hats etc etc, only to hear he'd failed to sell a single hat. "You're fired!"

Go around asking people what little things irritate them. Exaggerate them into things that break society, and blame the EU..
2
The truth hurts 🤣
2
Every brexit voter voted because of a childlike knowledge of immigration. They are just too ashamed to admit it. Hence the 7% 🙄This is why the tories are making immoral decisions about immigration because they know the brexit voters will secretly like to hear it. This is very reminiscent of the trump administration, when the only way to get ANYONE to vote for you is to pander to a right wing racist ideology of don't trust the foreigner.. Really low energy stuff..
2
What's Karen on about now?! 🙄🙄
2
What's the point in having rules/laws if there's zero consequence for not complying with them?! I want to see PRISON time for breaking laws to protect the public from corrupt government officials. This is OUR money.
2
@jonen2 The pound is still stronger than the Euro. Let's not get carried away.
2
Whoever took their child to a riot should have social services involved.
2
Then he's a terrorist.. If he has a political ideology. If he was a Muslim he'd be in prison already. Two tier policing.
2
@ftumschk Can you imagine him with "American" teeth though 😂😂
2
The real shock is there's constituents that wants his time! 🤷♂
2
Room full of morons 😂
2
@PureTruth-tr6uy Which European country do they have slave labour. I'd say Britain is the closest with its incredibly high cost of living with unregulated rent, food cost, energy bills etc vs its incredibly low wages.
2
Nearly spat my tea at "I have concepts"
2
This government has highlighted EVERYTHING that must change in the UK. EVERY opportunity to corrupt has been corrupted. EVERY loop hole abused. There should be OUTRAGE!! The public must DEMAND change!! Nationwide protest. Nationwide strike!!
2
To celebrate the anniversary of the end of slavery, we have an audience of racists.
2
@lindabennett6597 You could google big American brands and see what they make, like coca cola, nestle etc. I personally don't consume much American stuff anyway.
2
You think too highly of the northern brexiteer. It was and still is all about immigration.. None of them could give a toss about business, trade, £350million a week for the NHS.. They might whisper about the NHS but that's just to hide the racism that won their vote.
2
boycott American products
2
Farmers are tories as they want to pay less for labour and put more money in their pockets. I have no sympathy for tory voting farmers.
2
Another reality for the brexiteers to willfully ignore and pretend isn't happening.. 🙄
2
It was done. Can't remember the MP.. He did the shopping for a single mum who had a part time job and claimed tax credits. He had never looked at the price of something in a supermarket before. He was shocked and couldn't keep to the budget for just a week. Nothing was done about it though..
2
@loopwithers Michael Portillo. That's who it was..
2
Matthew Parris found he couldn't live on benefits in 1984 and Piers Merchant found you still couldn't live off benefits in 1986
2
@loopwithers 👍 Just stick them all on minimum wage. That'll fast shake things up.
2
Ask the daily mail who they'll get the morons to vote for. That's a prediction I'd put money on.
2
@BewilderedDuck-e5l What? Tripped, fell, landed on his [keyboard]

@BENTWOONEZERO A report commissioned by the Mayor of London and conducted by Cambridge Econometrics estimates that, as of 2023, the UK's economy is approximately £140 billion smaller than it would have been had the UK remained in the EU's Single Market and Customs Union.
2
@BENTWOONEZERO Brexit has led to a significant reduction in trade openness, with the UK's trade-to-GDP ratio falling by 8 percentage points between 2019 and 2021. This decline is more pronounced than in comparable economies. Exports to the EU have decreased by 17%, and imports by 23% between 2021 and 2023. Notably, sectors like agrifood, textiles, and material-based manufacturing have been among the hardest hit.
2
@BENTWOONEZERO Investment has also suffered, with the Centre for European Reform estimating that Brexit has led to an 11% reduction in investment and a 5.5% decrease in GDP
2
@BENTWOONEZERO The end of free movement for EU citizens has exacerbated labour shortages, particularly in sectors reliant on lower-skilled workers. This has contributed to a decline in the UK's labour force participation and may have long-term implications for productivity.
2
@BENTWOONEZERO That reality.
2
Anyone with private health insurance should be forced by law to use it. I have a colleague that votes reform and used the NHS even though his employer pays for private health care. He's not bright.
2
@MattitudePlays The party for racists that are definitely not racist.
2
@stephenweir9871 I'm not asking anyone to be poor. Everyone that voted to leave the EU made us all poorer.
2
And brexit was a stupid idea only morons would vote for. 😒
2
Imagine if the UK political parties pandered to intelligent people concerned about services who understand immigration, the link between poverty and crime, and want everyone to climb the social ladder and make the UK a better place to live. Rather than racing to the bottom to make the UK so unattractive a refugee feeling war would chose somewhere else..
2
@dalecrocker3213 😭😭😭😭🤡
2
I agree. I'm pleasantly surprised. I think this is the best trade deal brexit Britain has made since leaving the EU. This is the first time we've had ANY leverage as trump so desperately needs to spin a win on something. He needed this trade deal to succeed as badly as we did. And we didn't budge on a single UK standard. Imagine the farage deal... We'd be a vassal state of America already. ONLY American products for sale. 🙄🙄
