@Sterling-pound As migration is limited by demand then it is always controlled, even with free movement of people. Like we did when we were in the EU.

@Sterling-pound A migrant can't fill a job vacancy if there isn't one. They can't live in a house if it isn't vacant. They can be asked to leave the country if they attempt to claim benefits. Not that they're entitled to any. So it's all good. More money for the treasury. As for illegal immigrants, we deport them. So all good. I don't want to control money coming into the treasury. Keep it flowing in.

@newblackdog7827 Those 7m migrants all work and pay taxes. You can count the 4.3m who also work and pay taxes. Asylum seekers can also work once their claim has been processed. As for illegals, we deport them. It's great for the economy. A migrant can't fill a job that isn't vacant or rent or buy a home that isn't vacant.
