I did a little research (*gasps) and there are many accounts of citizens with guns acting against and stopping criminal activity. the problem is that the crimes are being committed by civilians with guns. example.. an argument at a bar breaks out between two men. one pulls a gun and shoots the other. then a civillian with a concealed carry license shoots and kills the shooter. guns are protecting civilians from crimes caused by guns..
