  8. This is why these court sessions must be televised. alex jones did the same. After he tried to say in court that he wasn't given the opportunity to hand over his evidence, the court demanded that he tell the truth under oath and admit he was given the opportunity to submit all of his evidence, and he was forced to say so. As soon as alex was out on the court steps, he repeated the lie that the court didn't allow him to submit his evidence. Transparency is what we need.

  16. I wasn't thinking about kissing my friends when I was 13 or at any age. I'd find it inappropriate to be read a sexually suggestive part of a story, that isn't normal. We can be taught to be accepting of homosexuality and that bullying is not to be tolerated, but that doesn't mean it's normal behaviour or that EVERYONE has homosexual thoughts. I mean, there'd be an outrage if people were encouraged to see heterosexuals as "normal" and heterosexuality was encouraged in our 13 year olds. Maybe just stick to sex education and support students struggling with THEIR sexuality. Sexuality of kids is not a topic a teacher should be dealing with. They should stick to their area of expertise and keep their personal views to themselves.

  18. When trump first stood for president, the internet was alive with debate. Crooked Hillary was what his campaign was built on. He promised to drain the swamp and get rid of corrupt politicians. But he spent 4 years becoming the most corrupt politician. Installing his supporters at every level, denying the validity of the democratic vote, supressing facts with bribes, etc etc. Now there aren't any arguments for voting for trump. Just the occasional "trump 2024" bot comment.. And him saying Kamala's name with as much disgust as possible. Embarrassing. America can be forgiven for voting for him last time, but this time???! You're insane to vote for him now. Unless you're a recipient of one of the many bribes, you've lost your mind.

Because the EU consists of many countries, when they make a decision collectively, it is always rational as it must be argued, debated and voted on. This is why the EU has such high food standards, protects workers rights to strike, protect free movement of its citizens, protect minority groups etc etc. The EU protects the member nations from the race to the bottom that capitalism creates everywhere else in the world.
