Lol. All mouth and no trousers. Typical of random self-appointed expert on the Internet

Going to war against 20 percent of humanity is never a realistic proposition. Destroy Chicom's China, u ll get the mother of all refugee/migrant crisis, worldwide, in the history humanity. That s when they really take over your country.

seasong : lol. 1.3 bln people...call it whatever u want. They dont care.

what total nonsense. if those smug little countries disappeared it would not have made any difference at all to the world. in terms which countries the world cannot Do without (for being instantly signifcantly worse off should they vanish) , surely America and China rank pretty high.

inspiring. lots of seeds of ideas.

done AT height of private equity bubble, and examples suffer from survivalship bias. what a long boring way of saying "take your time and keep trying".
1
Matthias : that s not a counter argument.

Always interesting to revisit and see what BS these experts used to spew and now wish u d forget. His so far has stood the test of time. More so than his peers anyway.
1
Josep Maria Nadal : what examples? Please give specific country names: democratic developing countries (brazil, South Africa, India, Philippines, etc.) vs. Non-D (which includes China now and in the past included Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Hongkong, Chile, and many less successful examples).
1
hipsonsogbo : u certainly think like a Chinese, Mao's Chinese anyway

Wait. What recent history? Last 150? The first 80, they were constantly attacked and nearly got exterminated. And they lost 1/3 of their territory. Last 70? They ve been focusing on saving themselves. Territory stable. No sending troops and Building military bases all over the place. Hardly alarming. The future, no one knows. But your claims all seem totally propaganda based.

War? And tantrum?

Hey anti-chicom yellow Chinaman, chicom did this, 1949: US population=150mil, Life Exp=mid 60s China population=450 mil, Life Exp=mid 30s Now: China pop=1300 mil, Life Exp=mid 70s, with longer healthy life span than US (WHO report) Infant mortatliy dropped from 240/1000 to 10/1000 in the Same period. Literacy rate also now almost 100% from 20% in 1949. What habe u done? Apart from parroting 2nd hand lies?

What Rising Asia? IS that a euphemism for China? Korea/Japan/Taiwan are American dependents. India is missing in action and cant make up its mind. The Rest? An incoherent mix of ex clonies without much to say. So what Rising Asia?
1
@golagiswatchingyou2966 that's my point. Unless China rises (open question), what Rising Asia?
1
@golagiswatchingyou2966 : can agree with a lot of those. Pros and cons though. It s a dangerous time. The West is too fucked up internally but the Asians are not ready yet (imho), merely rising but not there yet. Most asians (my personal observation) suffer from a victimhood complex. That s not helpful. The transition to a good multipolar world is going to be pretty bumpy.

She s got a Lot of growing up to do. Replacing one set of empty slogans with another set...what s the point?

Thought provoking. It has to be avoidable since the alternative is so horrible. Also China is eastern. It doesnt react in traditional western ways. I think it prefers to avoid hot conflicts. It takes 2 to tango. If China doesnt play to script, it might manage to avoid fighting the American Eagle head on.
