  2. So much convenient narrative making. Scapegoating is an ancient human instinct. Let me think. IS there any nation's ills currently that cannot be traced back to the Chinese ? I can't think of any. Chinese=scapegoat + pinata + obedient slave labour rolled into one. Rich countries hate them for trying to go above their designated station. Poor countries hate them for....trying to go above their designated station. WTO rules for developing countries are different. No one mentions this in the debate. Got complaints about China, ask the wto to change its status first.

  3. It must be exiciting for economists. This is a real world experiment on a grand scale to test basic economic principles and assumptions. Lots of data will be gathered and lots of future reaserch will be based on it.
