  1. Not many know that the CPC has actually molded its development and governance model according to the Singaporean example. Not many still remember the 80s and 90s when Singapore was under constant criticism for its authoritarianism and lack of liberal democratic freedom. Now it is much richer and but its politics only slightly less illiberal. But money talks and people have stopped criticising the Singaporean model.
