Well, Europe IS finding out that dependence on America means trouble. But it s a bit late for Europe. I wish China better luck. ;)

Framing ist powerful. A lie repeated enough times becomes truth. How did human survive this long? The mind boggles .
49
Kevin Rudd knows his subjects, unlike many in the white house.
38
Nothing to worry about then. Why all the hysteria?
11
U need to question the narrative u ve been fed. If smart people Seem mad to you, the chances are u r not getting the whole picture. Have u Seen Chinese working and studying? U want to know how ? Good ole fashioned American values: Hard work and greed. That s how. They r 20 percent of humanity and the world's largest goods trading nation (US is largest in Services). Small countries might 'steal' their Way to startdom. China can't. People who scream loudest about brain washed Chinaman are usually blind to their own well washed brain.
10
Exactly. It s not about trade.
6
It s called Global Trade. Every nation does what it s good at. Everyone benefits.
6
Yes. That s the number one biggest delusion (that we the West has free market capitalism) that s going to kill us all.
5
Lol. Does he mean he wants others to die for his peeves or he s going to war personally?
5
helpless confused : u know how many chinaman there r? Only 50 odd mils out of the 1350 mil live outside China. And most of those r local for generations. Over 100 mil of native Chinese travel outside each year, and, importantly, go back. U aint see nothing yet if Chinaman is your thing. Brace yourself for more, especially if China collapses. Chicom s doing the world a favour, keeping a lid on it all. So many fucking idiots with a chinaman complex just dont know what s good for them.
5
Wow. He s a saint.
5
Lol. The bitterness. U r projecting your inferiority complex and clueless racism.
4
In the long term we are all dead
3
Singpore got the Same old tripe from the snooty in the 80s and 90s for similar policies trying to civilise its citizens. They carried on regardless. The result speaks for itself. Also always beware of chinaman 'bearing' what u want to hear. They r the reason why chicom's China kept surprising ROW. True ever since the 30s.
3
@1989TS.. : yes. So dumb that they habe kept ahead of their enemies (always much larger and more powerful than they) AT every turn for nearly a century. Sure. Give it another century maybe their critics can finally declare victory. Lol
2
Kapt'n Pee , 1921, when chicom started. No one ever gave them any chance or credit...yet here they are. Now WTF r u talking about? And what s that got to do with u or anything?
2
No. No.No. The world Ex America Ex China thinks this is the new Cold War. China thinks this is a hot war (of Regime Change) . America thinks it is winning by Xmas.
2
Pretty good interviewer. Dont see that often on financial Porn channels.
2
There s been no real pain yet and America IS already wondering if it s worth it? I mean how impatient and in love with instant gratification can you be???
2
Lol. Literacy evidently isnt a big thing whichever shithole u r from.
2
Gdp doesnt mean much. Anyone can beef it up Short term. Problem is sustainability. I have to say, since the crisis, chinese actions habe Made themselves a Lot more sustainable than the West. Both sides printed money AS the answer. The money was spent very very differently. Chinese turned the fake money into conceret things that most Chinese can enjoy... the West turned thsoe fake money into fake money by other names belonging to a tiny percentage (0.01%) of the population ...all already in money heaven, never to be seen again.
2
Good point. Not sure it s a coherent Strategie though. There is such a mix of barks and trees from the US, right barks wrong trees and right trees wrong barks, everyone in the world, including the chinese, IS confused and not really coming to grips with US intentions.
2
If anyone can take on Washington, it s Chicom. They ve been doing that since the 30s. Outsmarting Washington every time. It s not that they r super smart. It s that Washington is usually operating from a position of overconfidence, ignorance and ideological blindness. Pretty awful combination if u want to win a game of strategy.
2
Audio : u r badly informed......wish does not a strategy make
2
Chinaman without Chicom= fawning yellow chinaman begging for saviour and charity all the time
2
@billhints7979 = typical yellow chinaman all mouth and no trousers. 1949: US population=150mil, Life Exp=mid 60s China population=400 mil, Life Exp=mid 30s Now: China pop=1300 mil, Life Exp=mid 70s, with longer healthy span than US (WHO report) Chicom s too good for u yellow chinaman.
2
Typical anti-chicom yellow Chinaman, all mouth no trousers, constantly parroting cliches, devoid of orginality, Talent, gut, and balls
2
Chicom is good AT crisis bad at peace. Looking AT the entire history US-chicom confrontation, and looking AT how the US is conducting itself leading into a confrontation, i d say history will repeat...know your enemy ist the first rule of war (cold or hot). America s biggest probelm, it never knows its enemy well.
1
I think bannon s right in many ways and he s honest/sincere. His fatal mistake, if any, would be to trust opportunistic anti-chicom yellow Chinaman. AS far AS i can judge, all the talents and honest guys the West can work with are inside Chicom already. Divide and conquer IS the ONLY way one can win this contest. Chicom rules China so tightly that it absorbs most of its Talents. Mouthy, fawning, anti-chicom yellow Chinaman IS the reason why the West keeps misjudging and underestimating Chicom's China.
1
Totally agree with Dalio. what we have now IS not capitalism. Protected entrenched economic rent + Central bank mandate to protect capital with printed and tax payor money AT all costs => dysfuncitonal market (divorced from real events in the real economy) + gross misallocation of resources and capital.
1
It s what happens when u let charlatans who dont understand economics 101 dictate policy. Novarro and Leithizer.
1
Really? Never thought of this before.
1
Typical anti-chicom yellow Chinaman, all mouth no trousers, constantly parroting cliches, devoid of orginality, Talent, gut, and balls
1
Kapt'n Pee : nothing to do with chicom. Those Events made chicom in fact.
1
Deal or no deal, things have fundamentally changed. The world would now plan things differently and hedge.
1
The real problem is QE and unaccountable Big Capital, not Trump. But Trump would be scapegoated. He s made it easy, to be fair.
1
Lots of valid points. But the cliches about honkong and democracy...pppplease. U should see the so called honkong democrats for real...u know the biggest American China policy Problem since the 1930s? Always backing the wrong chinaman! Too many yellow Chinaman, all mouth no trousers, no Talent no guts no brains, only good at saying whatever that s ingratiating and gets them American charity (and maybe blood). If u really want to change China, identify Chicom Talents u can work with. There IS no credible opposition otherwise..what there are, are mostly as described above or more radcial Marxists, facists/nationalists, or terrorists. Backing the wrong chinaman has got American china policy nowhere and repeatedly into dead ends. Do the same? U ll get the Same result. Bannon should be careful especially.
1
BK= tpIxal anti-chicom yellow Chinaman, all mouth no trousers
1
Cant put it in those terms. Both can live without the other when it comes down to it. But it s not optimal for either, nor for the world. What should have happened was to ask WTO to change rules re China's Status as a developing economy.
1
China actually doesnt exist. All the trades are fake so is the trade war.
1
@Teringventje : out there IS rather big and to claim anything different from your statement would be rather foolish. It s fairly clear though from your response that u might habe a difficiency in irony.
1
Diversification is the key. Especially in the long term.
1
Stop wasting time on this. The Market has been fooled twice now...
1
All hot Air. 10 percent gets us back to the starting point 3 months ago
1
@weiyang6417 = ingratiating yellow Chinaman revealing his inner Red Guard
1
Navarro, one of the biggest charlatans and freeloading individuals in America
1
Dont blame Trump for everyhting. The qe mkt is sick in itself.
1
Anne Shaw : dont hold your breath.
1
Well Chicom has outlasted and outmaneuvered every one of its enemies since the 1920s, especially American ones since the 1930s. Not because they are very very clever (which they are) but mainly because of American overconfidence and ignorance.
1
Where s WTO when we need it? Silence on all these illegal actions by the big 2? So fucking useless.
