  3. Familiarity is probably the biggest factor. Human nature is such that anything 'alien' rings alarm bells. Personally i think any Chinese (or Asian) company trying to promote themselves needs to focus on that. How long did it take Samsung to become 'familiar'? A generation? Japanese? Similar story if not longer (started in the 60s, lept in the 70s/80s, becoming 'normal' in 90s). The other Problem ist that Chinese companies habe less incentive to try. Their domestic market is big enough. That s always a 'problem'.
