You spent 1.5 trillion dollars in Afghanistan and 4 trillion dollars in WW2! This modern war will cost much more if Russia wins! If you think comparing Italian and Spanish economies to the US is comparable then you need to rethink what you've said! This could of been stopped if the UN and NATO had stepped in in the first weeks, now it's time for the long haul no matter how much it costs us all.
