I don't know if it was a lie. Seemed more like she had forgotten to what extent he was actually involved (which he was) with acquiring the logo. There doesn't seem to be any incentive to lie about who designed it when saying he hooked her up with the designer would do. On the other hand, what her critics do (like good ol' Ted Lieu in that congressional hearing) is flat-out intentionally mislead people to try and make her look like something she's not.
