Transgenderism remains a wholly incoherent worldview. One in which people confuse gender itself with gender roles and norms (or appeal to circular reasoning). One in which they insist others are incorrect in using terms like "man" or "woman" while being unable to provide objective, workable definitions for these terms themselves. And one in which they often equate disagreement with hate or phobia, which is not only illogical but dangerous.

Well said. "Because the 'experts' said so" is not a powerful argument.

I would definitely agree that murderers should be locked up permanently. And I'm one of those so-called "transphobes" who disagree with transgenderism completely, but violence is not the answer.
3
@Somagarn Don't take it personally, this Bonn person tried the same "forcing yourself onto others!" angle with me too.
3
@KingZNIN I'm not sure what you mean. I don't believe in rejecting what the "experts" say just for the sake of it, only when they fail to make logical sense. And I don't believe in forcing others to do things (especially not in the name of "freedom").
2
@KingZNIN "you are trying to force your will on others." No, I don't believe in forcing these things. But I do believe in correcting people. And I see that you do as well! as you're attempting to correct me as we speak, yes? Would you characterize your own behavior here as trying to force your will onto others? "You don't want kids to be themselves so you attack them." I haven't attacked anyone. But I have openly disagreed with their incoherent worldview (and said why). Further, it's very irresponsible of you to encourage them to feel "attacked" or "hated" by someone merely challenging their ways of thinking. "You don't want any abortion so you threaten the lives of women" I haven't threatened anyone's life, and I don't agree with killing the unborn. "You don't like vaccines so you don't want them to be free, and or accessable." I don't want more money stolen from the American people to pay for them, but I do believe in a free market where things like this vaccine could still be offered. "Experts are the generally the testing zone the people that looked into it to see if something is safe." And tons of FDA-approved drugs are recalled every year. Anyway, can you provide an objective definition for "woman", on your worldview, or not?

They know they can't refute anything we "transphobes" say, so they just throw random labels out there in hopes something will stick.

@KingZNIN "just about all you guys say is that it's unnatural" Not I. I've given several arguments against transgenderism but none of them have to do with what is/isn't "natural".
2
@KingZNIN "you never do give out any reasons outside of it's not natural/normal" Again, I never appealed to what's "natural" or "normal" in any of my arguments. And I'll be happy to reiterate them again: 1. Transgenderism involves confusing gender roles and norms with gender itself. 2. Those who subscribe to this worldview insist that others are incorrect in using terms like "man" or "woman" but can never provide objective definitions for these terms themselves. and 3. Transgenderism seems to confuse disagreement with hate, which is not only illogical but dangerous. There's more wrong with it than just that, of course, but why type more arguments that you're just going to ignore, right? 😉

"The experts (who also can't give a working definition of 'gender' or non-circular definition for 'woman') said so" is not a powerful argument.
2
@melgibson7313 "It’s completely coherent. Lol." I've given reasons why it's not, which you haven't been able to address directly yet. For example... "we are correct." Correct when? In saying that any particular person is a woman? Can you give an objective, workable definition for "woman" or can you not?
2
@melgibson7313 "No kid you gave debunked talking points" It's easy to just claim an argument has been debunked, but can you give the counterargument here? If not, it makes me wonder why. "We are correct about everything kid." Again, how are you supposedly correct? You don't seem to have an objective, workable definition for these terms, so how can either side be correct or incorrect in using said terms on your worldview? "We’ve given definitions that fit your standard" Then it should've been easy for you to provide them in your reply, as opposed to wasting time claiming you've given them over and over.
2
@KingZNIN ?? I haven't. Anyway, like I said, "the experts said so" is not a good argument. Nor is dismissing the OP's comment as "terf talking points" or weirdly accusing others of forcing themselves onto people.
1
@KingZNIN "so now it's controlling your life to tell you to stop trying to control other people's lives?" Lol, no that was your premise, remember? You wanted to accuse me of forcing myself onto others on the basis that I openly disagreed with them, but you're openly disagreeing with me. So you're being quite a hypocrite. "You people openly call for bullying, abusing,-" I have not. Do you have an actual counterargument to anything I've actually said, or not?

@KingZNIN (sigh) More red herrings to stall with. Is it really taking you this long to come up with an objective definition for "woman", or "gender"? Because that's a red flag. "let me guess you think the civil rights movement was wrong for "forcing" people to stop forcing black Americans into a second class citizen status." That... doesn't even make sense. What specifically are you asking here? BTW, did you know the Republicans were more unified in support for civil rights than the Dems? Weird, wild stuff.

Exactly.
