"Rules in favor of the American's right to be free as per the Constitution", more like, which is the Supreme Court's JOB. Really sad that it's news when the Supreme Court does its job, I might add.

@nbrikha Well they've been trying to stop people from assembling altogether too. As for the masks, there are greatly conflicting reports as to just how much good (if any) these masks do, and even some saying they do more harm than good. I get the argument that "It's for the common good", but surely you realize that can be said for literally anything the government wants to force. How bout we ban pornography "for the common good"? How bout next we ban certain political viewpoints "for the common good" because they're hate speech? It's not about the masks or even the rallies, it's about the precedent. And especially when everything is so shady (e.g., everything is a "Covid death" in case you didn't know), no, I won't be giving these people an inch at all.

The U.S. Constitution is above the Supreme Court. If they said no, we'd have every right (yes, even legally) to get out there and peacefully assemble anyway. If the Supreme Court finds that in any way controversial, they can resign or be forced to, because they're saying they don't want to do their job anymore.

ARC, I think your comment got deleted or something because I only got a chance to read the notification. In case you were asking if there's any dispute as to whether or not the masks help (or even hurt), the answer is yes. A quick Google search will show that it's a far more complicated and controversial question than the mainstream media would have you believe. But then of course, no one questions that the most effective way of protecting yourself from Covid is wearing a BLM T-shirt and setting something on fire. That one's just common sense. 😉
