Well at least they thought of ways to take advantage of everyone's desperation.

@jestapath7373 Well it's far from established that the vaccines will do more good than harm. Keep in mind they are all in their experimental phase, and the CDC admitted over a year ago that they were reporting on Covid with fake numbers (concerning both cases and deaths). But in any case, the "desperation" is just that some people will struggle to afford college. They are also hesitant or flat-out refusing to get the vaccine. So bribing them with free tuition to get that vaccine is a textbook case of taking advantage of that desperation. And BTW, I would see it this way even if I personally thought everyone should get the vaccine. It still wouldn't be right to manipulate people in that way.

@andreicapi3535 No offense, but "just a vaccine" is probably the most laughable phrase I've ever heard in my life.

@andreicapi3535 There's no such thing as being educated "in vaccines". We can only be educated about each individual vaccine. And with the Covid vaccines, they are all in their experimental phase; literally no one knows what will happen to those who've gotten it long-term. Couple this with the fact that they're using fake numbers to report on Covid (cases and deaths), and it's perfectly reasonable to reject this particular vaccine. Indeed, once you know the truth, there isn't much reason for most people to get it, but it's a free country (or should be).

@andreicapi3535 But you're not able to explain why it's supposedly "dumb" to reject the vaccine.

@sere971 The point is that no one (including you, the media, and the doctors who recommend the vaccine) knows what's going to happen long-term to the people who get the vaccine. This is precisely why they made sure they wouldn't be legally or financially responsible in the event something does go wrong, because they really don't know if something will or how bad it could be if something does.

@sere971 So what are the numbers concerning those risks? And are they also padded, like the numbers concerning Covid cases and deaths in general? Meanwhile, no one can honestly label the vaccine as "generally safe" yet; it's still far too early in the process. So it's still a matter of taking an experimental vaccine to ward off a virus whose threat is greatly exaggerated. And at the end of the day, as I said before, I would oppose manipulating people in these ways even if I personally thought everyone should get the vaccine. People should be free to choose for themselves which risks they want to assume. Make an exception for this, and try to force it; then there's no fundamental guard to keep anything and everything from being forced later "for our own good".

@SuperReviews4you True enough. Doesn't get these slimeballs off the hook, though.

@Jay-qg8ug I know, it's very troubling how people are just jumping on board here. But when the mainstream media (news media, Hollywood and even social media) are tightly controlled, you can get people to believe anything.

@BogeyBoys28 Very well said!

@sere971 Let me guess, now that the subject isn't taxes, climate change, abortion, gay marriage or what to call a man who identifies as a woman, people should be able to run their businesses however they like.

And to echo a question others have already asked, how is me not getting a vaccine putting others at risk? Since the vaccine is supposed to prevent the spread (to and from), it still doesn't seem to be anyone else's business whether or not I've gotten the jab.

@FordFalcon1962nBlue I'm actually trying to figure out what you're saying. We're proof we won't do what, exactly? And do you have anything to say about the topic?
1
@FordFalcon1962nBlue Are you saying that more people or fewer people should've gotten Covid?

@jestapath7373 Did you by any chance get to see my reply to you before it got deleted?
