  9. If being trans isn't a choice, then they really should be able to give an objective definition for "man" and "woman". Because all you ever hear in response to that question is "Someone who identifies as a man/woman". Which is not only a circular (non-)definition but also proves that they believe you can choose what you are.

  13. Great video but that same study, the first one you cite, tries to attribute much of their suicidality to things they'd blame us for (e.g., not accepting them as trans). What we need to do is start asking how people simply disagreeing with their worldview is supposedly making them have suicidal thoughts. I believe it's more the fact that they're taught that we hate them (which isn't true), and that's a huge part of why they're suicidal.

Because if gender is not a matter of objective fact, and only a subjective judgment call, then no one can actually be correct or incorrect about it. "I can't say what a woman is" = "I can't say you've misgendered someone."

  19. Slight correction: There are women with XY chromosomes and men with XX (though these conditions are extremely rare). Would be better to say that a woman is an adult human female, with "female" being someone whose body developed largely toward the function of bearing children. And a male is someone whose body didn't.
