@Paisley26 Exactly. If anything it's proof that we have principles. When someone (whether they like Trump or not) says something we agree with, we'll commend them for it.

I also had someone tell me that Gervais was "stomping the 1%" (which would reveal a left-leaning approach), but they missed the point as well. Gervais didn't stomp "the 1%", he stomped specific individuals on the basis of their actions. It's an increasingly Democrat approach to target people on the basis of their wealth and race (if they're white). But the rest of America says you should target people on the basis of what they do (e.g., if they're hypocrites, if they pretend to know about things they don't know about, etc.) And that's what Gervais did; that's why the conservatives are giving him heaps of praise right now.

Well even Vanity Fair called Gervais words at the Golden Globes "right-wing talking points", so it's not like we Trump supporters are the only ones saying this kind of thing.

It's a shame Gervais doesn't endorse Trump. Even Vanity Fair admitted that his words at the Golden Globes were "right-wing talking points".

@NLT31 So what is your criticism then? I'm just saying that the left is pushing people like Gervais away for telling some pretty basic truths. And Idk about Reagan, but Trump has a degree in economics for what it's worth.

@NLT31 I haven't heard of anyone on the right trying to censor people either, though. But I agree that people should not blindly (keyword) fall in line with either side of the political fence.
