  14. Transgenderism remains a wholly incoherent and inconsistent worldview. Every time I ask a trans person or trans advocate how they "know" they're the opposite gender, they inevitably confuse the inclination/disinclination to adhere to gender roles and norms with gender itself. That, or they say something like "I just 'feel like' a man" or "I just 'feel like' a woman". This is incoherent too though, because none of us actually have a basis for comparison there. We've all only been just the one gender, so we'd have no way of knowing the difference between "feeling like" a man and "feeling like" a woman, or even if there is a difference. Or indeed if there's such a feeling at all. And it's also an inconsistent worldview. We're supposedly obligated to call men women solely because they identify as such. But everyone I've talked to so far has admitted they would not call a white man black, a child an adult, etc. on that same basis. Clearly an arbitrary exception is being made for gender.

Even with the padded numbers they've been reporting on Covid with, less than 1% of people who get it will die from it, and B. There are many other ways to die. We can't just assume that people won't die from the vaccine itself, in fact. So what about all the other risky things we all do? Should we stop? Should we be forced to stop? "Almost 2 billion doses world wide that's not a experimental phase. how many before you consider it safe?" Naturally, how much is given out won't affect whether or not it's an experimental vaccine. Only time will tell how safe/unsafe the vaccine is. In the meantime, many of us have weighed the risks (of getting it and of not getting it) and decided we'd rather take our chances without it.

What's particularly sad, though, is that there are bound to be people who choose to get this experimental vaccine based on the fake numbers (which the CDC themselves admitted were fake, concerning both cases and deaths). And I think that's despicable. I would be opposed to that sort of misguidance even if I thought everyone should get the vaccine.

  29.  @BLAZE45  There's a difference between working on the vaccine for years (to combat a virus that's a little over a year old, but okay) and having given it to people for years. And don't bother telling me how coronaviruses in general have been around a long time; I know that already. But even the mainstream media is constantly talking about "new strains" of Covid which are not necessarily warded off by the current vaccines. So it's obviously not the case that the precise vaccines they're wanting us to take now, are the precise vaccines they've experimented with for years.

What you'll need to do, if you want critical thinkers to believe you on this, is explain how a vaccine which people only started taking a few months ago has been proven completely safe for years. What you might say is that they've been working on vaccines to fight coronaviruses in general. But then that would mean the vaccines they've been working on haven't been shown to combat Covid-19 effectively. Or, if they had to adjust the vaccine to fight Covid-19 more specifically, then it's no longer possible to insist that it's safe long-term.

But even then you will have admitted that you were pushing me to accept your claim even though you yourself didn't know why I should at the time ;)

  35.  @sjwilson1079  You should really inform yourself before arguing with people. Your best bet would be to claim that Biden was "just joking" which was the offered excuse. Of course, that doesn't really work either. You can tell by the look on his face that he wasn't just joking. And Biden has a history of being rude to people for merely disagreeing (unlike Trump, who was rude when people were rude to him first).
