@sjwilson1079 You should really inform yourself before arguing with people. Your best bet would be to claim that Biden was "just joking" which was the offered excuse. Of course, that doesn't really work either. You can tell by the look on his face that he wasn't just joking. And Biden has a history of being rude to people for merely disagreeing (unlike Trump, who was rude when people were rude to him first).

You can't just assert it, like you did when you lied and said Biden didn't say what he in fact said. "but inform myself??" Yes, you should be informed before speaking out (Sorry if that comes as a shocker for you). "Trump wasn’t rude until people were rude to him first just discredited everything you just said. So him claiming Mexican immigrants were nothing but drugs mules and criminals-" Which, of course, he didn't. Any other examples (that actually exist)? "The damage he did to this country in four years was absolutely staggering." What "damage"?

@mnguardianfan7128 Again, not only was the look on Biden's face confirmation that he wasn't just joking, but he has a history of getting rude and mouthing off at people for little things like that all the time. So we've no reason to think this was any different. I'll even add a third point supporting my claim that this was obviously not "just joking", and that is that he continued to insult them even after calling them "stupid bastards". He reemphasized the point that he thought they should've clapped. He might not have fully meant what he let slip out, but that doesn't mean he was joking.

@mnguardianfan7128 My discernment that he wasn't joking when he called them stupid bastards isn't relevant to any judgment of his "humanity", just the facts. But I would happily volunteer that saying dumb things (whether you mean them or not) is human nature. We've all done it. Though we don't all say that much, that loudly, that publicly, and that unapologetically. I would also add that even if it were the case that the only reason I personally have drawn that conclusion, is because I hate him, it wouldn't invalidate any of the reasons I've explicitly given. And for the record, I don't hate anybody. Just saying that even if I did it wouldn't mean I was wrong in my assessment here.

@mnguardianfan7128 Those factors wouldn't look any different whether he was joking or trying to play it off like he was joking. That's why I highlighted his facial expression while saying it, the fact that he still had criticisms for them afterward, and his history of mouthing off when people didn't do what he wanted.

And again, it doesn't work to try and force the assertion that the only reason I've drawn this conclusion is because I hate him, because I literally gave you the reasons.

@mnguardianfan7128 Yes, and your thinking has to do with factors that wouldn't help us determine whether he was joking in the moment that he said it, or just playing it off like he was. And you're also being a hypocrite by saying I won't leave room for the benefit of the doubt, after you've repeatedly said you're "obviously" correct.
