Trump's doing a great job, IMO, will definitely be voting for him this time.

So if we want to be like countries with excellent healthcare systems, why not follow the example set by Hong Kong? Ohh that's right. Even though they have literally the most efficient healthcare system in the world, they're also the most free economically... Can't have that! Gotta give all the power to the government cuz reasons.

@garoldgilmore4054 One could just as easily argue that what's selfish is wanting to take someone else's money by force. At any rate, look no further than the government if you want "selfish". They should've never been able to regulate healthcare so heavily (if at all). They're not providing us any benefit (in fact, since they got involved prices have done nothing but skyrocket), yet they always get their cut.

There's something very presumptuous about Bernie's whole take, isn't there? He says there's something wrong with people owning that much wealth... but doesn't seem to care how they accumulated that wealth. If it's from the American people deciding that what they've produced is worth the price they charged, then he's undermining virtually the entire nation (depending on the person we're talking about). He's saying, even though millions of Americans have effectively said "Yes you should have that much wealth", that in fact they are all wrong and he is right.

What would you "educate" us on?

Trump's doing a great job, so I'll be voting for him this time. In addition to the economy and record-low unemployment rates (especially for minorities), we're talking increased wages, prison reform, Right to Try, lower prescription drug prices, the list goes on and on. I also like what he's done for the pro-life movement, but I understand that's a more controversial topic.

@richardliuzzo2402 What, like the lives that will be saved by Trump's Right to Try act? Or the drugs he got approved by the FDA? Or maybe you just mean what he's done for the pro-life movement...

Indeed. We're already seeing the effects of government essentially controlling our healthcare industry. Prices skyrocketed in the 60s when this approach really took root, and it's only gotten worse since. What we need is a relatively free market, same as we have in most industries. Lo and behold, prices for the goods/services in those industries keep going down.

Well that can't be true, because he always said the millionaires were part of the problem... /sarcasm

Hardly. Here's a list of just some of the lies he told on this very podcast: https://www.goodmorningliberty.us/post/bernie-lies-9-times-in-32-minutes-on-the-joe-rogan-experience-podcast

More lies from Bernie. https://www.goodmorningliberty.us/post/bernie-lies-9-times-in-32-minutes-on-the-joe-rogan-experience-podcast

Agreed. He lied on this podcast alone several times: https://www.goodmorningliberty.us/post/bernie-lies-9-times-in-32-minutes-on-the-joe-rogan-experience-podcast

Joe was being straight up lied to here. He's too trusting sometimes. https://www.goodmorningliberty.us/post/bernie-lies-9-times-in-32-minutes-on-the-joe-rogan-experience-podcast

Yes, Bernie, the idea that healthcare is a human right is radical. Your right to health is that no one can take it from you; it's not that you are entitled to someone else's money, time, or work for the purposes of being healthy.
1
@Darth Vader I'm inclined to agree. No one is automatically owed someone else's time, money, or labor.

@Richallmight2 Knowing a famous person's name =/= a counterargument.
