Transgenderism remains a wholly incoherent worldview. Every time I ask a trans person or advocate how they "know" they're the opposite gender, they inevitably answer by confusing the inclination/disinclination to adhere to certain gender roles/norms with gender itself. That, or they say something like "I just feel like a woman". But that's incoherent too since none of us have a basis for that comparison. We've all only been just the one gender, so we'd have no way of knowing the difference between "feeling like" a man vs. "feeling like" a woman, or indeed if there is a difference at all.

@teknoaija1762 "why would you even care?" Several reasons. First, I think the truth has inherent value, so we should seek it. Second, sometimes these ideas are pushed upon others; people try to control how others speak or even run their businesses with this worldview in mind. An admittedly distant third would be a concern I have for trans people themselves. Transgenderism seems to lend itself to high suicidality. And while some claim it's because they're sometimes treated poorly even to the point of assault, I think it's just as likely due to the constant struggle of defending an incoherent worldview. That, or thinking that most of the world hates them (when in reality we just disagree). "isn t there more pressing concerns there?" Sure. But who says we should only try to solve literally the world's greatest problems? "looks like you have some issues on your own identity" Unfounded. But even if I did, that would do nothing to refute my arguments. Even if I'm the worst human being on the face of the Earth, transgenderism would remain incoherent for the reasons I've given (and more).

@teknoaija1762 "i still wonder why you link this particular issue to truth." Because the pretense is that concerning a male who identifies as a woman it's correct that they're a woman and incorrect that they're a man, yet there is no objective definition for "man" or "woman" on your worldview, which means no one can ever be correct/incorrect while using those terms. If nothing else, that fact is a truth that should be known. "like i stated, there seems to be more pressing concerns linked to truth over there, wouldn t you say." Solving this problem and solving other problems are not mutually exclusive, and different people are more/less capable of solving different problems. "historically it has turned out that people with issues towards sexuality like hate preachers have turned out be gay themselves." I'm sure it's happened. But A. that doesn't mean all or even most of the "hate preachers" were gay, and B. even if they were all hypocrites, they were still either correct/incorrect in what they preached. Same goes for your last few sentences there. Even if conservatives and Republicans are just all a bunch of despicable trash, that just plain doesn't do anything to show they're wrong.

@teknoaija1762 "i still wonder why you feel so strongly about this." I've answered that twice now. The truth is important, transgenderism involves not telling the truth. People sometimes like to use this worldview to control what others can say or even how they run their business. And I'd like to see fewer people burdened with transgenderism which forces them to try and defend an indefensible worldview and seems to only boast a higher suicide rate. "i don t get why transgenders seem to threaten you guys so much." Unfounded. Unless you mean literally, because I have seen trans people get so angry at being "misgendered" that they literally threaten others physically. "why not just laugh them of" I guess for the same reason you're not willing to just laugh off what I'm saying? Why are you trying to correct me? Why do you "care so much"? "if you haven t read orwell s 1984 i suggest you do" Yes, changing definitions and creating new silly words for no good reason is a dangerous thing...

@bobhall7257 "Your premise that you feel you are owed an explanation" Not my premise. No one's obligating you to respond. But I will point out that if you think I should call someone a woman or face some sort of consequence, that does put the burden of proof on your side in showing you're the one who's correct. "Personal experience is just that - personal." Ah but this isn't about questioning someone's experience; it's about questioning the validity of their beliefs or claims. "You have every right to protest if the actions of others impinge on your own freedoms." Sure wish every trans person/advocate agreed with you on that point. But they don't. "Homosexuality, transgender, non-binary sexuality are not new." Not sure what your point is. There are both good and bad things, both wise and foolish things in this world that are not new. "The “truth” you seek will likely come in the form of a greater understanding of biochemistry." Well I've heard a few arguments along those lines already, but none of them work. But feel free (and again, no obligation or pressure!) to provide an objective definition for "man" or "woman", referring to biochemistry or otherwise, anytime.
