Most Australians are supportive of an authoritarian government...we saw this last year, so I would expect most, especially those on the left are thankful such measures were put in place to keep them safe from the 'far right'. Its a very brainwashed kind of culture. I say that as someone who has lived here all my life but stand in a minority with a healthy distrust of authority. When there were large protests last year against the mandates and l o c k downs, the protesters had nowhere to gather, so they made zero impact. In the city of Adelaide, which ironically has 5 major town squares, the protesters were not allowed to use any of those spaces and had to gather in a nearby park away from view.
