  2. there isn't much anti American sentiment in Australia. Most Australians treat Americans like gods. More recently though there is more political division in Australia with the left becoming more extreme and less tolerant than they used to be. They are more likely to dislike southern Americans rather than 'yankees'. Australian media is very pro US democrats and very anti Orange Man.
