  1. since the 80's most new houses in Australia have single faucets (we call them 'taps'). my first thought about unique things in USA homes would be basements... I know that's common there... nobody in Australia has basements... only high-rise buildings have those. I think Americans displaying their nation's flag is also endearing. I wish we had that sort of patriotism here. Aircon set to 71 f? Harden up man...that's too cold. I only put the aircon on if its approaching 30C (86F).
