  1. Australia is a police state. The laws are bad enough, but then you have the whimsical orders that don't even pass through legislation but are regarded as laws under public health order. With the stroke of a pen an unelected health bureaucrat decides how far you're allowed to travel outside your front door, if you're even allowed to do that. Protesting is also illegal unless the protest is government endorsed.
