the bullbars are required in central australia because there are kangaroos and cattle that stray across the road as there are no fences there... the kangaroos especially can come out of nowhere in herds... also the price of used cars in australia are currently way over the odds because of the new car shortages brought about because of various factors going on in the world right now which I wont go into, but involve geopolitics and other things.
