  1. The worst professional football (soccer) league in the world is here in Australia where I'm from. It has an American style format with no relegation. As a result teams down the bottom don't try too hard defending and goals are easy to score. The people who run the league thinks this makes it more entertaining because it has one the highest average goals scored in the world...many of which are a result of calamitous defensive play.

  3. Many of the lower divisions are also fully professional so big money is still involved at that level. Some of them are televised too so you can still watch your team. Then this summary didn't even mention UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League tournaments... 🙂
