Unfortunately this is true. I would personally ban all social media platforms as they degrade society. China claims to do ban western media to protect their high moral standards, but obviously it is just to have full control over their citizens media. Of course if I were in charge I would do the same.

@amyzdon1774 yep. they definitely claim to. their state-run media is rife with brainwashing that they have the high moral ground, and westerners are degenerates. in china, the media lies to make things seem better than are. in the usa, the media lies to make things seem worse than they are. i'm honestly not sure which is better. neither would be preferable.

@amyzdon1774 I agree on the US stuff. Do you know about China's "Lost Generation?" basically the people around during and directly after the chinese 'cultural revolution.' read up on it if you have any interest in china.
