  1. I disagree. Something higher than overselves is unbelievablely beneficial. Yes the stories are timeless and play out continually, and that is very valuable to study and learn contemplate. But people are fundamentally flawed, and to simply say to look within, or find answers within, is not enough. The monotheistic religions won out because it's more focused and easier to unite people toward a common goal.
