  1. The funny thing about telescopes... you're far far, from seeing everything. Most of what has ever occurred, you'll never be able to see anyway. It's not like the light hangs around.

  2.  @danielkeizer4174  nope. It travels until it hits something and reflects or gets absorbed. And most light has either passed by, or been obstructed long before you'd ever see it in the first place. It's more a problem that your point of observation is a singular tiny speck. An eye in the middle of a densely packed forest at night will see more than we could ever hope to of space.
