It’s the same story over and over. Modern people have unrealistic expectations and don’t take marriage and parenthood as serious as they should. Unfortunately, divorce has become the easy way out, despite being terrible for the child. Also, it should go without saying, but people in the porn industry are not marriage material. they belong to the streets.

Do not agree with that last part. Marriage isn’t just about being happy. That’s a very low bar and shouldn’t be the goal. It everybody quit everything when they simply became unhappy, nothing meaningful would ever get done.

Men and women different. Thats not an excuse to not pitch in, but it’s still true and will be a rude awakening. Did you know there have been studies that prove a baby’s cry has a vastly different affect on a man’s brain vs a woman’s? And women get angry for always being the one to comfort crying baby at night. Most men just get annoyed with the sound, it doesn’t spark some natural instinct to comfort. The key is, communicate but temper your expectations.

@flonoiisana4647 that's especially true if the wife gets pregnant purposefully without agreement. That said, I think most men who say they don't want child is because they are worried about the cost and responsibility, and need a strong male role model to guide them on the right path. Then things can work out.

@Evil_Beauty you sound very young and naive. The people with the biggest regrets are those who chose to chase meaningless fun at the expense of something truly meaningful, like making a family. Usually older people speak from experience and wisdom. They generally are not trying to arbitrarily make life difficult for no reason. Go talk with a grandma and I guarantee they will share that their family is worth every sacrifice, and far more meaningful than anything else you can do in life. Don't be taken in by the nonsense on tv/internet/social media. It's all lies shared by people trying to look happy. The truly happy people are at home or at the park with their family.

@Maru96 lol nothing insecure about it. One of, if not the highest drive of every single living creature is to procreate. As humans, we have the added benefit of the concept of that propagating into the future. You mean to say you have zero desire for sex, at all? Or the very continuation of your own species? I highly doubt that. You’ve just been brainwashed by an upside culture and buried the truth so deep as to refuse it.
