  1. Obviously electric car should be cheaper in China. I went to China rather recently and saw far more EVs driving around than I see in the USA. Most Americans can't afford an EV. Neither can the vast, vast majority of Chinese. It likely only seemed like a lot because I was in a wealthy mega-city and pay attention to cars when I'm out and about. In reality, per capita EV must be lower than the US. But I still wonder how all these Chinese can afford 40/50k+ EVs.
