  1. it's Japanese car makers in general. Toyota, Nissan, Suzuki, etc... none of them are embracing the future. which is weird because Nissan was one of the first with the Leaf, and of course Toyota did very well with the Prius. But they simply don't want to shake up their domestic market, and somehow think they're keep coasting along into the future.

  2. if it had decent range... at least 250+ miles, I'd definitely buy one. I'm in Japan right now and Honda has some very similar looking gasoline cars. but of course you can't get those in the usa either.

  3. though I wouldn't want to lease a battery... like phones and everything else, they should definitely design them so that the battery is easily replaceable. unfortunately everything is going in the opposite direction, because more profit that way. :/
