  2. Actually in chess, the 3rd and 4th dimension are swapped. Chess can be played on a 2d plane across time (technically 3 dimensions) And so adding a z-axis to the move set (3d) is what brings the total to 4 dimensions.

  5. I know some girls that work at a salon, and they get normal pay. Not this $3-4/hr crap that restaurants try to pull. And yet they still expect a tip from every single customer. They all bad mouth customers who don't tip. I made some of these arguments and they agreed with me. But then went right back to their old ways almost immediately. It's the entitlement that is the problem. Which means tipping should never be normalized.

  10. The simple fact that it's always changing is precisely why it's better to pirate. I recently bought a blu-ray player to watch all my physical media, and I noticed that on dvds and blu-ray discs they force you to watch a bunch of trailers and junk when you pop the disc in. Somehow going straight to the menu is disabled. This is even worse when watching a show and after every few episodes you need to put a new disc in, and.......... you guessed it. sit through all the BS again before getting to the damn menu. that alone reminded me that it's better to just download. buying a backup drive every few years is cheaper and saves you so much hassle and nonsense, that they force on you when you pay for the product. piracy has always and will continue to thrive b/c it's more convenient and content providers have proven time and time again that they cannot be trusted.
