Food is produced based on orders and you can't just suddenly produce large numbers on a short notice, as demand grows production grows, and then the prices will go down. I've already seen this with eggs where the price keeps going down.

  6. ​ @markshamp3699 You have that mentality in the beginning, then you keep seeing prices go down and realise that waiting is more beneficial so you will keep waiting. It's demoralising to see the value of everything you own go down the moment you buy it, people won't keep buying.
