  1. 15:30 I remember watching an early 2000's typical action film about the last Emperor of the Western Roman Empire, I think that it was very loosely based on King Arthur, in the film the Eastern Roman Empire is depicted in such an Orientalist way one could mistake it as being a depiction of the Persian Empire in 300, the main representative of the Eastern Roman Empire, or "the Eastern Empire" as they call it in the film, is an Indian woman in heavy armour, her depiction is loosely based on a mystified version of India or Arabia. This old film basically just assumed that the casual audience didn't know anything about "the empire in the East" and could depict them with the wildest Orientalist fantasies that actually makes Zack Snyder's 300 look historically accurate.
