  1. 09:00 Baby Boomers were the first and honestly only rebellious youth generation, my guess is not that they rebelled against strict parents, rather they rebelled because they largely weren't given as strict boundaries as generations before them. Talks of "self-actualisation" and focusing on your own happiness weren't mainstream before the Baby Boomers, I'd say that the Baby Boomers were the first "Me generation" because they were raised (with good intentions) by parents who believed that this level of freedom would benefit them. Also, no generation before or after them had these levels of freedom as we later saw helicopter parents and codified restrictions on youth.
