My parents actually visited the Soviet Union during the last few years of its existence, but I always liked my father's stories from visiting Germany during the height of Socialism there, we had family behind the iron curtain and often Germany was presented as "a socialist paradise" because it was the closest Soviet satellite state to Europe.

  4.  @seandarbe2521  Unfortunately so, as it keeps retelling the Vietnam War so often that LITERALLY EVERYTHING about Vietnam is somehow about the Vietnam War, just search anything about our country and it's always first the Vietnam War and then ANYTHING else. At least Korea has Kim Jong-Un memes.

  6. Most of this was gross oversimplification and missed much information such as the fall of the Ottoman Caliphate, historical Mughal rule and the historical special status of Muslims and the princely states.
