06:35 Dude, Filipino's are on social media 24/7, heck, I've seen Filipino men use the Facebook more than Dutch women. Social media and dating apps are way worse there than in the West, but economic pressure and societal expectations are different. I'm not sure if Filipina women are "more traditional" than U.S. American women, I haven't really heard anyone say that other than Feminists in 2010's and Passport Bro's today, but I'm convinced that Passport Bro's are just men who internalise Feminist propaganda.
For context, the Philippines has a wage gap that favours women, the way the wage gap is calculated is using Feminist methods that heavily favour men, and despite it Filipina women still outperform Filipino men on it, so economics seem to play a much larger rôle than social media penetration.
If you're poor, any additional income is welcome, even if you earn more than him. Filipino men are also way more likely to do household work or even be stay-at-home fathers than men from other countries. These are the reasons South Korean Feminists claim they don't want to have children, but the birth rate in the Philippines is also declining. Whatever the issue is, it is multifaceted.
