Regarding China being the most powerful country for almost 2000 years, it's not exactly accurate, China was divided into multiple countries multiple times, the Yuan and Qing Dynasties were foreign occupations, and while the Ming Dynasty easily defeated any European power, unlike Europe it wasn't well prepared to face off the little ice age, or Japanese pirates, or could they handle the influx of Spanish silver from America not calculating inflation (like the Spanish), nor did the rigid adherence to traditionalism and never disagreeing with an ancestor allow for much flexibility in the Ming imperial order causing it to disintegrate, the Qing violently conquered it but the Manchu armies could have never done it alone, by promising generals large pieces of land for betraying the Ming they got to take China relatively easy. Also under the Qianlong Emperor the Qing expanded beyond its borders and declared war on everyone in every direction.
